FREDERICKTOWN — Trailing by two midway through the first set, the Highland volleyball team was in need of a jolt.

They got one that no team really wants to see — their best player hitting the floor in agony.

Trying to make a kill with her team trailing 19-17, Ashton Terrill went down in a lot of pain. But, after a few minutes with the trainer, Terrill was able to return and when she did, the Scots’ play took off, as they rolled to a 25-19, 25-17, 25-12 victory over host Fredericktown in a Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference opener Tuesday.
