MOUNT VERNON — Ten weeks after the death of Mount Vernon High School senior Chelsie Alaimo, the man driving the vehicle that struck her has been charged with her death.

According to a complaint filed this morning in Mount Vernon Municipal Court, Curtis Hull was charged with one count of vehicular homicide, a second-degree felony; one count of operating a vehicle under a controlled substance, a first-degree misdemeanor; and three counts of operating a vehicle under the influence of a listed metabolite of a controlled substance, all first-degree misdemeanors.
