The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's soccer team saw two of its players receive All-League Honors from the Crossroads League on November 13. Forward Miguel Bello was awarded First-Team honors following a strong debut season with the MVNU Cougars. Bello led the team in scoring with ten goals, ranking him third overall in the Crossroads League. He scored four game-winning goals, including one that led to an upset victory over No. 20 Grace, earning him the title of Crossroads League Offensive Player of the Week. Additionally, Bello contributed four assists and ranked fourth in points with 24 and fifth in shots with 50 this season.
Defender Chucho Salgado received an Honorable Mention for his performance during his third season with the Cougars. Salgado played a crucial role as a center back and was also the team's second-leading scorer with five goals. He notably scored twice in a 5-0 win against Brescia, which helped him secure the Crossroads League Defensive Player of the Week award. Salgado added one assist and accumulated 11 points within the league.
