PUBLIC NOTICE
GAMBIER VILLAGE COUN CIL HAS ADOPTED ORDINANCE 2025-04 DECLARING ITS INTENT TO SELL PERSONAL PROPERTY NOT NEEDED FOR PUBLIC USE BY INTERNET AUCTION.
Whereas, the Ohio Revised Code 721.15 (D) permits the sale of personal property no longer needed for public use, regardless of the property’s value, by an internet auction and Gambier Village Council desires to sell its unneeded personal property by an internet auction. A summary of that legislation:
The Village of Gambier has contracted with GovDeals, 100 Capitol Commerce Blvd., Ste 110, Montgomery, AL 36117 to conduct the auction.
Bidders will be given 14 days to preview and bid upon said items through the website at www.GovDeals.com
Bidders will have 10 days from delivery of notification that they are the successful bidder to submit payment and pick up the items following the auction.
Property not claimed by the successful bidder within 10 days from delivery of notice to the successful bidder may be listed for a subsequent auction at the discretion of the Village.
All sales are final. All property is sold without any warranty whatsoever; no representation is made regarding the property's fitness for any purpose; all property is sold “as is”.
The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

Property may be inspected by calling 740-427-2063 and arranging a time to inspect the property; however, the close of the auction will not be altered to permit inspection.
