ASHLAND – A $900 grant to purchase a training manikin for Hospice of North Central Ohio (HNCO) has been authorized by the New London Rotary's Area United Fund (NLRAUF).

The chest manikin will be used to train HNCO's frontline nurses on chest ports and subclavian ports. The grant is made possible through the efforts of the 2020-21 NLRAUF campaign. The fund's mission is to "support New London area through education, community involvement, service and outreach to those in need."

As the area's oldest and largest nonprofit hospice organization, HNCO has served thousands of families with compassionate end-of-life- and palliative care and bereavement programs and services since 1988.
