Go Pink event raises $27,000 for local patients

Local organizers are pleased to announce that the annual Go Pink for a Cure event raised $27,000 for patients who receive treatment with Breast Health Services at Knox Community Hospital. Now in its 21st year, the event is more successful than ever.

Two sobriety checkpoints in Mount Vernon tonight

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Mount Vernon Police Department and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, announced today that OVI checkpoints will be held from 8pm to 1am tonight on SR13/South Main Street and US36/Coshocton Avenue, in Knox County.

The community can provide input on the strategic plan through a survey.

Unless extended, Saturday is the deadline for village of Gambier residents and other interested parties to fill out an online survey related to Gambier’s forthcoming strategic plan, which will outline the village’s priorities moving forwarded once completed.
