Farmer’s Market grows, set to exceed 50 vendors

Today’s Mount Vernon Farmer’s Market at 1 Public Square, the first of the year, is set to top 50 vendors — if another one or two vendors who have applied to join the market are admitted on time, market coordinator Michelle Duffy said Friday.

Cold fronts

I hate cold fronts. It seems to be a requirement that if I have a fishing trip planned, and especially if I have a tournament scheduled, that a front rolls through, leaving us with a drop in temperature, high and clear skies and wind, usually cold wind.
