Local businesses receive PPP funds

Eighty-two businesses in Knox County and the surrounding area received federal Payroll Protection Program loans of $150,000 or more to help see them through the economic devastation from the COVID-19 epidemic, according to an analysis by the News from numbers released Monday by the U.S. Treasury Department.
