SIDNEY — James F. McGough, 88, of Sidney, passed away at 2:38 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2020 at Wilson Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 29, 1931 in Mt. Vernon, the son of the late Lawrence and Leona (Harding) McGough.

He is survived by children, Maribeth (Bob) Bolcavage, Scott (Sharon) McGough and Jeff (Diane) McGough; grandchildren, Heidi (Dan) Caudill, Tom Black, Jamie (Destiny) Black, Misty Bolcavage-Brown, Robert (Sandi) Bolcavage III, Aja (Nathan) Brandon, and Makayla McGough; great-grandchildren, Tristen Shank and Lilly Caudill, Damien and Nevaeh Black, Tiffany Bolcavage-Weber, Tyler Swiger, Zoey and Corbin Black, Lirin Bolcavage, Adrian Hains, Avery and Ethan Brandon, and Dawsyn Hilbert; siblings, Harold (Neoma) McGough, Carol (John) Reiss, and Irene (Ron) Arnholt; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Barbara Jenkins, Kevin Jenkins, Karen Jenkins, Brenda Doseck, Sue Criswell, and the gals at the Hen House Salon in Coshocton.

James was preceded in death by his wife Neoma (McKay) McGough in 1998; brother, Irvin McGough; sister-in-law, Lois McGough; sons, James Bruce McGough and Todd William McGough; step-son, Greg McKay; step-daughter, Paula McKay; and great-grandsons, Dalton Shank and Landin Caudill.
