MOUNT VERNON — Albert Aaron Levenson Jr., 86, of Mount Vernon, passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, at Country Court Nursing Center in Mount Vernon. He was born Dec. 21, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Albert and Bernice (Albert) Levenson Sr.

He graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1952 and worked for Continental National Can for 44 years. Albert belonged to the Mount Zion Lodge #9 F & A.M. for 65 years and was past Monarch of the Grotto. He was past partner of the Farley and Moore Antiques for 22 years. He loved golfing and belonged to two leagues.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Annabelle (Davis) Levenson; children, Al (Jodie) Levenson III, Debra (Tom) Cioffi; five gandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Charlene (Mike) Fribley; and a niece.

Along with his parents, Albert is preceded in death by a brother, John Levenson.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home; 619 E. High St. Mount Vernon, with a Masonic Service starting at 7:30 p.m. A private family graveside service will be held Friday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. in Mound View Cemetery with Bill Pursel officiating.
