MOUNT VERNON — The Community Concert Association of Knox County presents live on stage the Sons of Serendip on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at the Memorial Theater in Mount Vernon beginning at 7:30 p.m. This is the third program of the 2019-20 season and is sponsored in part by the Knox County Foundation.

Sons of Serendip is a musical group of four friends who, through a series of serendipitous events, came together in graduate school at Boston University in 2014. That began what they know will be a long, beautiful journey of creating music that touches people’s hearts.

This quartet of individually very talented young men creates marvelous music through the use of the harp, piano, cello and voice. They have been gaining in popularity since appearing as finalists on season nine of “America’s Got Talent.” Their program is a fresh mix of emotionally expressive popular music, engaging stories and audience participation. They hope their music will resonate deeply with listeners and in some way, make their lives a little better — even if only for a little while.

Single tickets will be sold at the box office when the doors open at 6:30 p.m. or tickets may be ordered by going to the website www.ccaofknoxcounty.com or on Facebook.
