She was born Aug. 27, 1956, in Mount Vernon to the late Roy and Avinell (Jenkins) Snyder. Yolanda enjoyed reading, nature, the sunshine, politics, and feeding the stray cats and kittens around her home. But most of all, she loved the time she spent with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Yolanda was preceded in death by her sisters, Penny Snyder and Kathy Campbell.

In keeping with Yolanda’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private gathering at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made, in Yolanda’s name, to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.
