DANVILLE — The Danville Village council was unable to hold a public meeting due to not meeting quorum because of sick council members.

At the request of Danville Local Schools’ superintendent Jason Snively, trick-or-treat night has been moved back to the originally scheduled date of Oct. 31 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. due to a parent-teacher conference being held on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

The next meeting is scheduled for Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. Council will discuss the appointing of a new council member due to Chuck Cook’s resignation. Those who have submitted letters of interested have to be a registered voter and had lived in Danville for over a year. Fall clean up day is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19, from 8 a.m. to noon, at $20 a truckload.
