MOUNT VERNON — All three Jake’s Steakhouse locations have closed, according to several news sources.

The Mount Vernon location closed its doors on Thursday with a sign posted to the door. Employees of that location were sent an email near midnight the night before from Tim DeRodes, owner of the steakhouses, stating the reason for closing.

Monday, the Ashland Times-Gazette posted that the Ashland and Wooster locations had shut their doors as well. Each location had similar notes posted to the doors of the restaurants.

The article states that DeRodes sent an email out to the Ashland location employees giving similar reasons for closing as it did for Mount Vernon: He had begun to struggle financially. The Wooster location closed over the weekend, Ashland being the last on to go on Monday.
