MOUNT VERNON — First Presbyterian Church of Mount Vernon will hold their Fall Rummage Sale on Oct. 3-4.

The First Presbyterian Women’s Association uses the proceeds from the bi-annual sales to support local missions.

In the last 10 years, FPC has raised over $40,000 to donate and support local ministries such as Interchurch, Winter Sanctuary, Habitat for Humanity, Scouts and many more.

The sale will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 106 N. Gay St., Mount Vernon, corner of Gay and Chestnut Stret, Oct. 3-4; Thursday from 1-6 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This fall the sale will feature a Singer sewing machine in cabinet, fabric and linens, vintage Kickock cane/rush chairs, vintage ice cream chair, dining room table, beer steins, Heisey plates, refurbished computers, vintage chairs and other household furniture, adult and children’s clothing, toys, bed frames, lamps, tools, kitchen items, Christmas decorations and so much more.
