MOUNT VERNON — Join the Knox County Park District for Pumpkins in the Park at Wolf Run Regional Park, 17621 Yauger Road, Saturday, Oct. 19, 6-8 p.m. This event will feature carved pumpkins illuminating the trails on a fall night hike through the park. The public is invited to attend as well as participate by donating a carved pumpkin for the display. Pre-registration is only required for those individuals who choose to donate their own carved design. Drop-off for the pumpkins will be Oct. 18 from 5-6:30 p.m. preceding the Pumpkins in the Park event at Wolf Run Regional Park. The public is invited Oct. 19 to view the lighted trail as it illuminates the park from 6-8 p.m. Prizes and food will be available.

To pre-register a pumpkin donation (one per person) visit https://knoxcountyparks.org/events/pumpkins-in-the-park/ or go to www.knoxcountyparks.org and click on the Events tab for October and locate the event details. Participants will receive a confirmation for them to bring to the drop-off on Oct. 18 at Wolf Run Park. Please join the Park District in this fun-filled evening.
