MOUNT VERNON — Linda K. Baldwin, 70, of Mount Vernon, passed away Friday, Sept. 6, 2019, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. She was born April 12, 1949, in Belfry, Kentucky to the late George and Gladys (Dutton) Wassell.

Linda graduated from Belfry High School in 1967. She was a professional homemaker and raised her two boys. Linda loved to see her friends at the Station Break and made lots of memories there. She enjoyed tending to her garden and flowers.

She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Christi) Baldwin, Brian (Emily) Baldwin; grandchildren, Hannah, Brian, Kaleb, Sawyer and Chloe; a sister, Bonnie (Donnie) Davis; nieces, Pam, Alicia and Danielle; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Baldwin; and a brother, Ronnie Thompson.

A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, Sept. 11, at 6 p.m. with calling hours from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon. Burial will take place at Beaver Union Cemetery at a later date.
