Joshua Morrison/News Concrete removed from the Mount Vernon Avenue Bridge on Thursday caught fire as it was being transported off the construction site. The concrete was stuffed with cardboard when the bridge was originally constructed in 1979. Mount Vernon firefighters were able to quickly put out the fire. No injuries were reported.

Concrete removed from the Mount Vernon Avenue Bridge on Thursday caught fire as it was being transported off the construction site.
