DANVILLE — The results of the recent composite test for the Danville Municipal building, which included sealing the building the weekend of July 20 and ran for a total of seven days, have come in.

In a press release sent to the News by Rob McDonald, the village administrator, Chem-Tech Consultants tested for volatile organic compounds and found that there were no levels that exceed OSHA levels.

It has been recommended that the council install a charcoal filtration system in the heating and cooling units of the building. It was also recommended that the building be re-tested in three months to check again for any substances.
