ZANESVILLE — Joseph “Joe” Raymond Boeshart, 69, of Zanesville died unexpectedly Sunday, May 12, 2019, at his home.
Joe was born June 11, 1949, in Mount Vernon to Raymond and Mary (Blanchard) Boeshart. He graduated from Danville High School and received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Kent State University.
After graduating from college Joe worked as a chemist at a chemical company in Hilliard for a number of years. He then entered the real estate business with Century 21 Real Estate. Joe purchased properties and developed Modern Property Management, in Zanesville.
Joe loved fishing, especially in Canada, and playing cards. Joe loved all sports and was especially an enthusiastic fan of Ohio State football.
Joe is survived by Fern (Daubenmier) Boeshart of Florida; his sisters, Beverly (John) Kornack, Dorothy Waters of Zanesville, Janet Boeshart of Maryland, Jean (Virgil) Dudgeon of Wisconsin; brothers, Clarence “Sam” (Lori) Boeshart of Michigan, Carl “Mike” (Debbie) Boeshart of Mount Vernon, Thomas (Carmen) Boeshart of California, Floyd (Paula) Daubenmier of Mount Vernon, Bill Daubenmier of North Carolina, Joe (Becky) Daubenmier of Indiana, and many nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Boeshart, his mother, Mary (Blanchard) Boeshart, his sister, Judy (Terry) Haldeman, and his brother Charles “Chuck” Boeshart.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home, 619 East High St., Mount Vernon. Rev. Father Homer Blubaugh will preside. Burial will follow at St. Luke Catholic Cemetery, Danville.
