MOUNT VERNON — Lillian J. Shotts, 96, of Mount Vernon passed away Thursday, July 25, 2019, at the Ohio Eastern Star Home.

She was born June 2, 1923, in Pavonia to the late William and Hariette (Workman) Smith.

Lillian is survived by her sons, Wayne (Barbara) Fry, Carl (Sharon) Fry, Kenneth (Jayne) Shotts; her grandchildren, C. Scott Fry, Terri (Tom) Tackett, Thomas (Jacqueline) Fry, Cathy (Bryan) Elswick, Beth Shotts, Jason (Ursula) Mullins, Justin (LeAnne) Mullins, Gidget (Mark) Graves, Robert Stringfellow; thirteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, George Shotts; her grandson, Kenneth Shotts Jr.; her sister, Sue Nagle; and her brothers, Paul Smith and Ace Smith.

Friends may call Friday, Aug. 2, from 12 – 1 p.m. at the Flowers-Snyder Funeral Home. A service will follow, beginning at 1 p.m., with Pastor Dallas Waggle officiating. Burial will take place in Bird Cemetery.
