CENTERBURG — On Saturday, the USA Days Festival hosted a Disney Princess Party featuring Rapunzel and Belle.

The children got to sing along and dance with Rapunzel and Belle with songs from favorite Disney princess movies. Each princess sung her own song from their movies before showing the kids some dance moves.

Scarlett Slayton, age 5, said that her favorite princesses were Elsa and Anna but she was most excited to see Belle at the princess party.

“I want them at my birthday party,” she said.

Her mother, Jessica Slayton, said “I was thrilled. I didn’t know that they did this last year. It was so cute watching them up on stage.”

Layla Salser was very excited to see Rapunzel, her favorite Disney princess. She said that she would love to have to have a tea party with them at her birthday party.

USA Days Festival started Saturday morning off with a parade. The day followed with a concert by the Centerburg High School Band. Other events at the festival included a Pound Exercise Program, a Kids’ State of Ohio Sanctioned Tractor Pull, and the Alan Carl Country Band. The day ended with a concert by Free Bird, a Lynyrd Skynyrd cover band, and fireworks.
