UTICA — Nancy Jane Davis, 68, of Utica passed away unexpectedly at her home Tuesday, April 23, 2019.

She was born June 8, 1950, in Columbus, to the late Edwin and Millie (Ford) Ferbrache. Nancy was employed at The Limited in Columbus for nearly 15 years. She enjoyed riding on the back of her husband’s motorcycle and wearing Tie Dye. But most of all, Nancy loved the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, extended family and her feline and canine companions.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Davis; her sons, Aric Shockley and Todd Shockley; step-son, Eric (Melanie) Davis; her step-daughter, Gretchen (Doug) Hawk; her granddaughter, Kate; her step-grandchildren, Jason, Ethan, Cooper, Callaway, Garrett, Erica and Madison; numerous great-grandchildren; her sister, Linda Cash; and her brothers, Jerry (Cathy) Ferbrache, Ed Ferbrache and Jim Ferbrache.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her step-son, Brent Davis.

The family will have a memorial gathering at the family home, 18640 Upper Fredericktown-Amity Road, Fredericktown, on Saturday, April 27 beginning at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Knox County Humane Society.
