CLEVELAND — Wednesday, during the final regular-season tennis match of her Kenyon College career, senior Maggie Sweeney went a perfect 2-0 in singles and doubles play. Monday, the North Coast Athletic Conference recognized her performance, naming her the Player of Week.

In that match, Sweeney helped the Ladies post a 9-0 team win at home against The College of Wooster. In singles, she played at No. 3 and defeated Shannon Sertz 6-1, 6-0. In doubles, she paired with Ericka Oku at No. 1 to score an 8-4 win over Sertz and Qingyue Li.

For the season, Sweeney is 11-11 in singles play and 16-6 in doubles. She and the rest of the Ladies tennis team will head to Indianapolis, Indiana later this week for the NCAC Tournament.
