CENTERBURG — After its regular business meeting on Monday, the Centerburg Board of Education met in executive session to discuss an investigation concerning allegations against head football coach Jim Stoyle.

According to documents provided to the News on Tuesday, the board reviewed the circumstances surrounding the allegations which came to light in early August. The board also examined Stoyle’s response to the allegations and went over the executive summary of an investigatory report from Clemans, Nelson & Associates. The firm interviewed parents and students regarding Stoyle’s alleged aggressive behavior, psychological abuse, coercion, interference with education, retaliation and favoritism in the context of the district’s bullying/aggressive behavior policy.
