DELAWARE — Teddy F. Barcus, 70, of Delaware and formerly Sunbury, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015, at Willow Brook Christian Village, Delaware.

He was born April 13, 1945, in Sunbury, to the late Loren and Leona (Price) Barcus. He had worked as a janitor for Alpha Industries.

Teddy enjoyed going to fairs all over the state and especially the Delaware County Fair. Teddy collected hats, loved trains, big names and long words. Teddy was a friend to everyone and never met a stranger. He spent time helping various horsemen at the fairgrounds grooming and feeding horses and made many friends who this Christmas sent him 300 plus cards.

He is survived by brother, Rick Barcus of Centerburg; sister, Judy Corwin of Delaware; and nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday, from 5-8 p.m., at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR 3 at 61, Sunbury, where services will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Donnie Akers officiating. Interment will follow in the Trenton Cemetery.
