Board concerned with charter schools

The electronic Classroom of Tomorrow and charter schools in general were again discussed at Wednesday’s meeting of the Knox County Educational Service Center school board.

Joshua Morrison/News On Wednesday afternoon, Sears Holding Co. announced it was closing 150 Kmart and Sears stores across the country, including the Mount Vernon store. The company said stores will close at the end of March.

Regency Properties, a commercial real estate company specializing in county seat communities, announces the addition of Rural King at Knox Village Square in Mount Vernon, Rural King is leasing approximately 94,374 square feet of space.
