Joshua Morrison/News Volunteers with Courtside Ministries, Willie Rose, left, and Roger Tickle, right, both of Mount Vernon, spend their Tuesdays from 9-11 a.m. outside the Knox County Courthouse offering prayer to individuals coming to and from court, as well as to passersby. Tickle explained that the group doesn’t come from any one denomination and is open to all volunteers. The best way to get involved he said was to just “show-up.” According to Rose, the ministry has been active in Knox County for a little over a year.
