Controlled burn rejuvenates land

The burn was part of two controlled burns in Knox County. Honeyrun Highlands Park had a burn held on Friday. Burns such as this are designed to manage invasive plants and restore nutrients to the soil. A total of 23 acres were burned at Wolf Run on Monday.

Fredericktown Girl Scout Troop 1691 visited FT Precision in Fredericktown and went on a guided tour of the facility, learning about STEM careers before doing a presentation for some of the staff members about their current project and upcoming “Sleep Out” event.
