No, a new fancy club didn’t just open in Mount Vernon; it was the premier of the first annual Mother-Son Dance held at Ariel-Foundation Park’s Community Foundation Pavilion.

County club brings together gardeners

On Monday evening, about 50 local gardeners met to chat, dine and learn more about gardening at the annual Knox County Garden Clubs meeting, held at the Apple Valley Clubhouse.
“Knox County Garden Clubs has eight different clubs and once a year we meet together here,” Knox County Garden Clubs President Audrey Spearman told the News.
