An Award of Financial Reporting Achievement has been awarded to Mandy Craze, deputy auditor, who was primarily responsible for preparing the award-winning CAFR.

The Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting has been awarded to Knox County by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for its comprehensive annual financial report.

Snowflake Gala to feature auction, award

Kenyon College has announced its plans for the 2016 Snowflake Gala benefiting Knox County’s Food for the Hungry, which will take place on Friday, Dec. 2, in Kenyon’s Gund Commons Lounge. A dinner, featuring locally sourced foods, will be prepared by AVI, the college’s food service, followed by a “Fund-A-Cause” auction.
