Sewer rate increase coming down the pipe

Loss in revenue, an increase in expenditures and debt that continues to remain the same, according to a wastewater study completed by Poggemeyer Design Group, will likely mean an amendment to current sewer rates that will see Centerburg residents paying more, Mayor Beck said at village council Monday.

In recent years, Camp Cornish, previously a Girl Scout camp that is now a retreat center open to scouts as well as non-profit groups and individuals, has been made over thanks to several Eagle Scout projects.
