Kim Horn, director of the Board of Elections points out the different aspects of the DS850 tabulation machine used at the Board of Elections to scan ballots from absentee and early voters as well as curbside ballots on election night. The BOE ran early voting and absentee ballots through the machine early without tabulating results in order to ensure that the ballots were correctly marked and in tact for a smooth election night reporting process.
