MOUNT VERNON — On pace with the rest of the week, weather forced more scheduling changes Friday, which was a big league night for boys basketball.

Mount Vernon was the lone team to still compete Friday, playing on the road against West Holmes.

Two Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference games originally slated for Friday will now be played tonight. Centerburg will play at Danville and Highland is set to host Cardington. Both nights will start with JV action at 6 p.m. East Knox and Fredericktown were slated to play last night, but the weather forced the game to be called. A makeup date has not been set for the conference bout.

In bowling action, the Jackets were originally set to host Heath, but the action will now be played Monday at Colonial City Lanes in Mount Vernon, and it will also be Senior Night. Fredericktown’s match against Ridgedale was canceled and will not be made up.
