FREDERICKTOWN — Sherri L. Oswalt, 51, of Fredericktown passed away Friday evening, Jan. 25, 2019, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born Oct. 28, 1967, in Columbus to the late Bill and Jane (Layton) Wittman.

Sherri was an STNA and owned her own daycare. She enjoyed attending county fairs, her dogs and especially spending time with her family. Sherri was a Girl Scout leader and alongside her husband, Ron, they coached their daughter’s softball team for many years.

Sherri is survived by her husband, Ronald L. Oswalt; daughter, Cheyann (Quintin Neff) Oswalt of Fredericktown; sister-in-law, Becky (Sam) Collins of Mount Vernon; brother-in-law, Mike Oswalt of Fredericktown; several nieces and nephews; her canine companions, Crash, Mac and Diesel.

In addition to her parents, Sherri was preceded in death by a grandchild; a sister, Becky; and a brother, Donny.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30, at the Snyder Funeral Home, 33 E. College St., Fredericktown where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 31. Burial will follow in Forest Cemetery.
