GRANVILLE — Marian Talbot Agan passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2019 at her home.

She was born in New York City to Charles and Susanna Tabolt, April 24, 1929. She graduated from Aquinas Hall, Bronx, New York, and attended Good Counsel College, White Plains, New York.

She married Lt. Eugene F. Agan Jr. on Aug. 16, 1952; they celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary this year.

She devoted her life to family and community service. Marian was a mother of five children, Boy Scout den mother, parish council member, Head Start Coordinator and volunteer at Centenary United Methodist Church Meals on Wheels in Granville.

She is survived by loving husband, Eugene; children, Jay, Christopher (Debbie), Michael (Tracy), Ruth (Charles) Llewellyn, and Sheila; grandchildren, Vanessa, David (Andrea) and Shelbi (Joey); great-grandchildren, Isabella and Samuel Agan, and Gavin Robbins; sisters-in-law, Susan Savino (Elmira, New York), Ann Marie Wagner (Bradenton, Florida), Else Tabolt (Manchester, New Jersey), and Patricia Mailey (Horseheads, New York); many nieces and nephews; and beloved cat, Jade.

Marian is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Michael, Charles and John; twin sister, Margaret Grieco; and brother-in-law, Patrick Agan.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the employees of Hospice and Home Instead who spent their time caring for Marian.
