LOUDONVILLE — Marie K. “Kathy” Krech, 75, of rural Loudonville died unexpectedly Tuesday morning, Jan. 15, 2019, at her home following an extended illness.

Kathy was born Sept. 27, 1943, in East Cleveland and was the daughter of the late Richard and Marie Geer Webner. She was a 1968 graduate of Cleveland State University and was a retired teacher from West Holmes High School and Mansfield Senior High School, teaching math, science and medical transcription classes. After her retirement, she moved to New Port Richey and Tarpon Springs, FL, before returning to the Loudonville area a few years ago. Kathy loved her many trips to casinos in Indiana, West Virginia and Ohio.

She is survived by her husband, William F. Krech, whom she married Dec. 12, 1964; one daughter: Erica (John) Heisler of Columbus; nine grandchildren; and her sister, Judy (Bob) McMillin of Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, John Krech in 2017.

Kathy’s wishes were for no services; however, she and her family suggest memorial contributions be donated to the Arthritis Foundation NE Ohio, 30775 Bainbridge Road, Ste. 210, Solon, OH 44139.
