MOUNT VERNON — Behavioral Healthcare Partners of Central Ohio, Inc. announced Scott Gatton has been awarded Social Worker of the Year by the National Association of Social Workers, Ohio Chapter.

“Scott gives so much to his clients, students, interns and BHP staff. What he gives back to the community is immeasurable. We are truly honored that he is part of the BHP family.” said Dr. Kate St. James, President and CEO of BHP.

Gatton will receive this honor today at the Ohio NASW, Region 8 Awards Ceremony being held in Newark.

The NASW offers a set of values, principles and standards to guide decision-making and everyday professional conduct of social workers. Every year it selects an individual of high caliber, who makes extraordinary contributions to the field of social work.
