CENTERBURG — Three adults and four children were injured in a two-vehicle accident Monday in Delaware County.

The seven individuals, all of them from Centerburg, were taken to the hospital following the crash, according to Ohio State Highway Patrol, Delaware Post, reports. No information on the status of the patients was available from area hospitals.

Injured in the crash were Hazel Coe, 63, Makayah Coe, 15, Noah Prosser, 11, Gage Putnam, 11, Rainee Putnam, 7, John Kincaid, 64, and Marla Kincaid, 65.

The four children were in Coe’s vehicle. John Kincaid was driving a 2016 Ford Escape, in which Marla Kincaid was a passenger.

The crash occurred at the intersection of U.S. 36 and County Road 605 in Trenton Township at approximately 5:59 p.m. According to OSHP reports, Hazel Coe was driving a 2016 Ford Taurus northbound on County Road 605 when she went through a stop sign and struck the Kincaid vehicle on U.S. 36.

Hazel Coe was cited for running a stop sign, according to the patrol.
