FREDERICKTOWN — G. Richard “Dick” Tanner, 82, of Fredericktown passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2018, in Fredericktown. He was born Jan. 12, 1936, in Loudonville, to the late Ralph E. and Corrine M. (Heller) Tanner.

Dick honorably served his country in the Army and a member of the Knox County Joint Veterans Council. He was the owner/operator of M.E.T. Trucking in Fredericktown.

Dick is survived by his children, Nick Anthony “Tony” Tanner, Richard Matthew “Mick” (Lee) Tanner and Jill Beth (Tim) Carpenter; grandchildren, Adam, Robin, Nicole, Marc and Cobe; and his canine companion, Shooter.
