CENTERBURG — Sherrel Jack Webb, 83, died peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Retired Lather for Cleveland Construction. Veteran U.S. Army. Member of the American Legion and Carpenter’s Union. Jack enjoyed boating on the weekends and long bike rides with his brother.

Born Feb. 25, 1935, in Russell County, Virginia, to the late Walter Sherman and Grace Levi (Miller) Webb. Also preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor M. Webb, and son-in-law, Jim Van Fossen.

Survived by devoted children, Terri Van Fossen, Lori (Ed) Lambert, Jackie Webb and Davy (Nikki) Webb; brother, Bill Webb; grandchildren, Brandt Lambert, Colton Tucker, Dalton, Harley and Kallie Webb; great-grandson, Gage Webb.

Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, 637 N. State Route 61, (at SR 3), Sunbury. Funeral Service 11 a.m. Saturday, at Roberts Funeral Home, on the grounds of Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens, 18260 Coshocton Road, Mount Vernon. Rev. David Allison officiating. Interment with military honors to follow.
