Danville Elementary School second- and fourth-graders presented their annual holiday program “Toys: The Night They Come Alive!” Tuesday evening at the Danville High School auditorium, following the Kindergarten and first-graders Holiday program. The students performed rousing renditions of classic carols, like “We Wish you a Merry Christmas” and “Jolly Old St. Nicholas,” as well as less well known pieces, like “Hip Hop Reindeer.” The students sang, danced and brought toys to life during their sensational seasonal showcase led by music teacher Deanna Bennett.
