COLUMBUS — Ryan Tiell and Noah Hubbard of the Mount Vernon football team were honored for this season’s on-field accomplishments by being named to the Division II All-Ohio football teams, as announced Tuesday from a vote by a members of the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association.

Tiell, a 5-foot-11 junior, earned selection to the Third Team as a defensive back. He had 85 tackles with 28 solo, nine tackles for loss and four pass breakups for the Yellow Jackets this season.

Hubbard, a punter, was named Special Mention. He finished the year with a 38.8-yard average on his 46 punts with a long of 67 yards.

Division I teams and the Ohio Mr. Football award will be announced today.
