MOUNT VERNON — Ceetta R. Antill, 76, of Mount Vernon, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, with her loving family at her side. She was born Aug. 20, 1942, in Mount Vernon to the late Howard and Coreta (Rinehart) Steurer.

Ceetta went to school in Amity. In the past Ceetta attended Church at Chapel Hill, formerly Colonial City Baptist Church, in Mount Vernon. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, diamond painting, adult coloring books and cooking. Most of all she loved being around her family. In her later years, the more grandkids and great-grandkids she had, the more of a driving force it was for Ceetta to keep going. Ceetta often mentioned to people how much her grandchildren meant to her; loving them was her whole life.

Ceetta is survived by her children, Rhonda (Ron) Doup of Mount Vernon, Danny Howie (Robin) Myers of Arkansas, Geary Myers of Newark, Sherri (Brian) Whited of Fredericktown, Melissa (Tom) Tenney of Fredericktown; step-daughter, Janet Hershner of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Jamie (Adam) Doup, Ryan (Cara) Doup, Alexa Doup, Jessica (Jesse) Fabrizio, Lane Myers, Cody Myers, Katie Whited, Caleb (Nicole) Tenney, Kylie Tenney, Erik Tenney, Rachel Hershner, William Hershner; 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Ceetta is preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. Antill; sisters, Mary Lou Doup, Patricia Hayes, Carolyn Overturf, Nancy Stobart, Phyllis Jean Steurer.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, at 11 a.m. at Amity Cemetery.
