Kenyon College sophomore Crile Hart was named the NCAC Player of the Week for her work in the pool last week for the Ladies.

CLEVELAND — Kenyon Ladies swimmer Crile Hart was named the North Coast Athletic Conference’s Player of the Week Monday after winning a trio of events in the team’s dual meet at Denison University Saturday. It was her second career honor.

The sophomore swept both the 100- and 200-yard backstroke events while also claiming first in the 200-yard individual medley. All three of her victories resulted in NCAA ‘B’ cut times.

During the 100, Hart clocked in at 55.83, the fastest time in Division III this season. Then in the 200, the Pepper Pike native posted a finish of 2:02.26. Her winning efforts were then concluded in the 200 IM as she touched the wall in 2:02.57. That, also, is the fastest time in the nation.

Kenyon will return to action Thursday when the team travels to take part in The Ohio State Invitational.
