MOUNT VERNON — Aneita E. Doering, 79, Mount Vernon, was called to her heavenly home Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018. She was born July 16, 1939, in Germantown, PA, to the late Harold and Marion (Allen) Kurtz.

Aneita attended the Seventh-day Adventist Church and was the church secretary for the former Seventh-day Adventist City Church in Mount Vernon for many years. In addition to her parents, Aneita was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Doering; sisters, Muriel Kurtz, Dorothy Kurtz, Ruth Kurtz and Marilyn Hyson; and three infant brothers.
