MOUNT VERNON — Sara Rose “Milo Felixx” Rupel, 21, of Mount Vernon, passed away unexpectedly Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

Sara was born April 30, 1997, in Cleveland to Robert G. and Rosemarie E. (Donato) Rupel. She was a current student at Columbus College of Art and Design. Sara was a self-taught artist and seamstress, who loved to draw, sew and crochet. She was also an animal lover, especially of cats and her two fur babies, “Binx” and “Loki.” Sara adored her cousin, Emily, and enjoyed spending time with her and teaching her art, crocheting, sewing and making homemade Valentine boxes.

Sara is survived by her parents and one sister, Michelle Renee’ Rupel, all of Mount Vernon; aunts and uncles, Judy and Delbert Knolhoff, David and Terry Rupel, and Joanie (Donato) and Robert Sells; cousins, Alex Sells, Emily Sells, Jenni Donato, Katie Donato, Tony Donato, Linda Knolhoff, and David and Carrie Rupel; and second cousins, Cereniti, Canela, and Cianna.

Sara was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Daisy Donato; paternal grandmother, Eunice Webb; and two uncles, Frank Donato and Michael Donato.

Calling hours will be held from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Werner Gompf Funeral Services, ltd, 1106 Park Ave. East, Mansfield. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman.
