MOUNT VERNON — Jimmy C. Bristow, 49, of Mount Vernon, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2018, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus. Jimmy was born Nov. 1, 1968 in Evansville, Indiana, to the late Charles “Buddy” and Virginia “Ginger” Bristow.

Jimmy worked as a Master Chef and was employed by Country Club Nursing Home. He loved the fall season and everything that came with it — the trees, football and golf. He also enjoyed music, Elvis, classic rock, and country songs being his favorites.

He is survived by his loving wife of seven years, Dawn; beloved children, Haylee, Ashlee, and Clay Bristow, and Robby Whitson; brothers, Charles (Chip), Mark and Julie, and Brian and Amy Bristow; sister, Robin and Greg Tynes; and adored nieces and nephews, Ryan and Lela and their three children, Dallas, Karli and Tyler, Shalyn and Nick and their son, Anthony, KJ and Brittny and their three children, and MacKensey and her daughter.

A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
