While investigating several residential burglaries that had occurred in the eastern portion of Knox County, deputies were able to generate a vehicle description from information provided by witnesses. A vehicle matching the description was observed by Deputies Ryan Burgess and Zac Miller in the area of Newcastle Road and Billman Road. Officers made contact with the driver and occupants after the vehicle pulled into a driveway on Billman Rd. As part of the investigation deputies have arrested four people.

Cody S. Brengartner, 24 years old from Marblehead, Ohio on charges of receiving stolen property and possession of drugs.

David D. Lagasse 22 years old from Oak Harbor Clinton, Ohio on charges of receiving stolen property.

Joan M. Heintz 18 years old from Port Clinton, Ohio on charges of receiving stolen property.

Taylor M Gobmeier 19 years old from Marblehead, Ohio on charges of receiving stolen property.

The investigation is ongoing. The suspects appear to have targeted Amish residences in the Butler Township area. Deputies are looking for any additional victims and anyone with information is asked to contact the dispatch center at 740-397-3333 ext. 1.
