MOUNT VERNON — Kenneth M. Stoner, 87, of Mount Vernon passed away Tuesday evening, Aug. 7, 2018, at the Whispering Hills Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He was born Oct. 21, 1930, in Glen Willard, Pennsylvania, to the late Ernest and Blanche (King) Stoner.

Kenneth honorably served his country the Army. For over 30 years, he worked in the shipping department at Westinghouse. After retiring from Westinghouse, Kenneth worked in the Security Department at FT Precision in Fredericktown.

Kenneth is survived by his son, Leonard Stoner of Nebraska; and a daughter, Janice Cordell of Kansas.

In following with Kenneth’s wish, there will not be any services. A private inurnment will take place in Galion Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Salvation Army or a Hospice of your choice in Kenneth’s memory.
